Roasted Asparagus
1 big bunch of asparagus (we get ours from Sam's Club)
1 Tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp garlic salt
Parmesan cheese
1. Cut ends off asparagus and place in big pot filled with water. Boil for 5 minutes.
2. Drain asparagus and place on baking sheets. Mix butter and garlic salt and brush mixture on asparagus. Grate Parmesan cheese over top.
3. Roast in 450 degree oven for about 15 minutes.
Well... I have to admit .. you finally posted a recipe that I personally would not enjoy eating.. but reading your ingredients and your instructions on how to prepare the dish.. I can see that those people who do like asparagus would be eager to try your recipe... and the presentation looks wonderful too... keep the recipes coming... I enjoy your Blog entries very much
ReplyDeleteIt is also nice to see Kai wanting to be a part of your cooking experiences so he was chief oven watcher for the Asparagus adventure.. hehe
Thanks for including my baby brother, his real name is Anthony, my parents call him Kai. When he gets older and can talk, he can choose which one he likes better. I bet he will choose Anthony and I will do anything to try it, but back to the comment.
Deletei can't blame you for not trying asparagus, most people don't like veggies.

ReplyDeleteSorry but when I try something and I don't like it I won't eat it again. So if I like this asparagus I will eat it, if not then I will never eat it again. It is up to me and not you, sorry for being a little harsh. Sorry again.
DeleteGreat job Owen, The asparagus looks yummy and we will try it as soon as we can get out from all the snow to go to the store for some. Great Pawpaw and Great Mawmaw are very proud of you.
